With over a decade of experience in the industry our team is highly accomplished in home modifications. We are here to work in collaboration with you to ensure you can live safely and comfortably in your home.
Before beginning any modifications, an Occupational Therapist will need to complete a preliminary home assessment with the client to identify individual needs and determine what home modifications may be required. Home modifications can span from simple rails to more complex renovations and design.
Simple modifications include:
- Grab rails
- Installation of hand held shower hoses
- Wedge / step ramps
- Lever taps
- Non slip steps
Complex modifications include:
- Bathroom modifications
- Kitchen modifications
- Installing access ramps
- Stair lifts / platform lifts
- Designing fully accessible housing
In some cases, assistive technology can be a better alternative than home modifications and our therapists will discuss these options with you during the preliminary assessment.
